Design Consultancy

Most DN clients use us as their overall design consultancy. In our Design Consultancy role, we work step by step in phases going from research and concept generation through design development and refinement to prototypes and graphics and product launch. At the start of the project you receive a detailed quotation of the projected work with proposals on how the work will be arranged. Normally each phase is invoiced individually.

Venture Design

Have you ever wished for a way of creatively using strategic skills, export knowledge and top design methods without being restricted at the outset by tight development budgets? Venture Design is the solution. Venture Design™ is similar to venture capital but instead of investing financial value, DN invests our strategic skills, international experience and proven design in your products.

Venture Design™ is a new DN service where innovation and design are carried out at low cost up-front for the client. Payment is made to DN when the products are actually sold.

Real Win|Win - DN's fees are linked to the success of the products sales. So we go really far to ensure success because DN shares in the responsibility of making the projects a commecial success. There is no upper limit on our investment of skills and time in Venture Design™. The greater the success on the market, the bigger income there is for your company and DN.

February 18th 2010 | LED there be light

Hélo Illumination Inc launched a remarkable new series of LED light bulbs at the recent show in Frankfurt. Borrowing heat-control know-how from the IT world, Hélo has succeeded in taking a major step forward in bringing LED's into universal use for everyone.

The short design deadline also underscores DN's Rapid Commercialisation skills. The design work started in late December 2009 and the products were launched in February 2010. Global design and global solutions for the environment.

A big thanks to the many people in Denmark, Europe and Asia Pacific who took part in the DN Xmas Quiz. The response has been very enthusiastic and we have received many imaginative answers.

The right answer is that there are 8 Christmas elves. As a design office we noticed an intriguing cultural mystery. People in southern Europe and in Asia Pacific have interpreted the question quite differently and we received many different answers from these regions.
